Safety Information
Wax Melts – if using a bar break off a couple of cubes from your bar – amount is down to your preference of strength and burner size. We recommend using a 4 hour tealight, this should be lit and placed into the burner. Please note when using larger burner you may benefit from using a larger tealight, however, please ensure never to use a large 8hour tealight in small burners as this can pose safety issues.
Please be mindful of the amount of wax you put into your burner to ensure it doesn’t overspill when the wax has melted. Do not move your burner when in use or while the wax is still melted.
Do not leave a burner unattended and please note burners do become hot to touch while in use so should be placed on an even surface out of reach from children and pets.
The strength of the aroma is dependent on your room size, room temperature, burner and amount of wax used. For example, a tealight burner typically gives a stronger aroma in comparison to an electric warmer than will give a more subtle long-lasting aroma. We recommend placing your burner away from any drafts to ensure you allow all the wax to melt correctly.
Once the wax has no scent, wait until the wax cools and then you have a number of ways to remove the left over wax.
1) place burner in fridge/freezer and leave for a hour or two – once removed the wax should pop out, however, please ensure you allow burner to return to room temperature before using again.
2) turn burner upside down and place under a warm tap, this will start to melt the wax and will allow you to slide this out. Please ensure burner is completely dry before reuse.
3) place tealight in as you would when in use then blow out after ½ minutes, use a cotton ball or pad to soak up melted wax and slide left over wax – take extra care when using this method to ensure wax doesn’t run down the side of your burner of get on your skin as this may be hot.
Never use metal, cutlery or sharp objects to remove wax from your burner as this may result in damage to your burner or injury to yourself.
Please refrain from using any cleaning products, chemicals or wipes on your burners – from time to time we do recommend cleaning your burners which can be done with standard soapy warmer, however, please ensure burner is free from any product and completely dry before using again.
Please check packaging for allergen advice. Keep away from children and pets.
